Please join us on Thursday, October 25th, for an evening with artist and environmentalist Jim Draper and an “appetizer” preview of “Pascua Florida: Feast of Flowers,” opening later this year in Jacksonville.
Jim’s paintings show Florida’s native flora, fauna, and ecosystems in all their resilient, fragile, consumable glory. Selected paintings from the exhibit will be on display.
The evening will conclude with a conservation conversation, exploring how an appreciation of nature’s unique beauty can lead to actions that honor and preserve the natural world. Speakers will include noted environmental writer and filmmaker Bill Belleville and CEJ’s director, Sister Pat Siemen.

Amendment 1 – Florida’s Water and Land LegacyCongratulations to all who worked so hard in support of Amendment 1 on the November 2014 ballot, which passed with 75% of votes in favor. The measure will dedicate about $1 billion annually for conservation purposes.
